Denny Lee, Owner/Operator

Denny Lee is managing partner of Maryland Sportsplex. Denny is very excited to bring his knowledge of business management along with many years of baseball and softball; training, playing, teaching, team lessons, individual lessons, along with coaching and developmental programs to enhance athletes at all levels of these sports. Denny has played, coached and worked with many major league, minor league, college, high school, elite, travel and rec players in his 40+ years of experience.

Denny’s resume is extensive and consists of:

2018-Present Started Maryland Crush youth 9U-15U baseball program

2016-Present - Owner, Administrator and Head Coach of Maryland Dynasty Fastpitch Softball Organization. Two State Championships, Three top four National finishes and a record of 86-16-2.

2009-2014 Owner and head coach of Bridgewater Baseball Academy. A not for profit organization to help underprivileged youth have the “travel baseball” experience.

2008-2010 Owner and head coach of US All-Star women’s fastpitch team ~ All Pro Dynasty. Traveling the country, playing colleges along with exhibition game of 6 women (all stars) against a local full men’s fast pitch team, only having lost one game!

1995-Present - Pitching and hitting coach for past, current and future MLB players, minor leaguers, college, high school, travel & rec players.

I look forward to continuing my work with many athletes at all levels here at our 35,000+ sq. ft. Maryland Sportsplex as well as developing the younger players to help them reach their next level of skill.”

Billy Greenwell, III    11U Head Coach

Bill was part of the 1996 Bel Air high school state championship team. Following high school he graduated from Division II Davis & Elkins college where his senior season he was the conference and region hitter and player of the year as well as being an All-American.  Following college Bill spent 5 years playing professionally; starting out with the Twins in spring training then independent leagues where in one year was an all-star and led the league in RBI's.  As a coach he's spent time coaching high schools in the area as well as the head coach at Harford Community College.  He is the current 11U Maryland Crush head coach.  Bill has been giving private instruction to hitters for 20+ years.

  •  Named to Brooks Robinson MD High School All-Star Game

  • Played in Crowne High School All-Star Game
  • Named to ABAB All-Decade Baseball Team

  • Three time All-Baltimore County Team
  • Starting infielder for Evoshield Canes Nationally ranked 17-year-old baseball program
  • Baseball scholarship recipient to Millersville University
  • Sam’s playing career was unfortunately cut short after experiencing a serious arm injury.

  • 1986 Terps Bosey Berger Award Winner - University of Maryland, Most Outstanding Baseball Player
  • Member of ACBL Jersey Pilots Summer Collegiate Championship Team
  • Created the Baltimore Flat Rocks travel baseball program. During its five year run, the organization contributed to the development of over a dozen players that went on to play college baseball.
  • Crush coaches Sam Stark, Conor Reynolds and Robbie Jones all played for Coach Stark’s Baltimore Flat Rocks baseball teams.
